This is totally non-destructive and is specially useful with cut stones or any instance where you decide that Specific Gravity is what you need. Using a Berman Balance (and larger modifications of it) we cover anywhere from 10 milligrams to 100 grams or more.
What we need to work on is a pure sample, in particular if it is a cut stone it must be unmounted and if it is a mineral it must be compeletely isolated from matrix. For security reasons please tell us what is coming if you plan to send us something with high commercial value. The basic cost of service is $15.00. (We say "basic" because for valuables there are other issues like insurance.) The piece can be returned to you.
